Message from the Dean

 Professor Attia Attia

Dean of Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering

Dear Students

Welcome to the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering, FEEE,

It is a great time to consider a career in energy engineering. The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering at the British University in Egypt is an effective and modern faculty that offers the most diverse range of Engineering Energy specialisms in Egypt.

The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering is dedicated to providing high graduated engineers to local and international renewable energy industries. The undergraduate programmes in FEEE are five-year programs; divided into a 4-year program in addition to a prep year. By successfully completing the requirements of the preparatory year, you will have the knowledge and skills to choose a degree among:

Honours Degree Programmes offered in:

BSc. Petroleum Engineering and Gas Technology.

BSc. Renewable Mechanical Energy

BSc. Renewable Electrical Energy.

BSc. Biochemical Engineering.

BSc.Environmental Sustainable Architecture.

We conduct excellent and high-quality in teaching and research (learn how to think not what to think) and provide students with the necessary knowledge in renewable energy and biochemistry.

According to our study plan, the student will get a broad and intensive knowledge in renewable energy technologies. The curricula offered in the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering programmes emphasise both theoretical and practical aspects including design and implementation. It provides students with the theoretical and practical skills that industry and employers require. The programmes also include a number of optional modules that permit the student to undertake further studies in the field of other sustainable technologies.

Our academics and students will engage in research areas such as renewable energy, solar power, wind energy and biomass. We collaborate with researchers around the world from a range of globally recognized Universities and institutes. The faculty also offers student activities and field trips to give the student an international experience and leadership.

Please explore our website if you would like to learn more about our staff, research activities and initiatives at the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering. We hope you will join us as we help address some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today.

About:

The Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering curriculum focuses on the current and emerging fields of energy through five unique programs; The Renewable Energy (Mechanical & Electrical) programmes focus on cutting-edge technologies and techniques of green energy that include energy generation, transportation, usage, and storage. Such technologies include solar, wind, hydraulic, and geothermal, as well as, fuel cells and thermal storage. The Biochemical Engineering program offers students the opportunity to combine knowledge of biology, chemistry, and engineering to create products from raw materials and develop the processes for producing bioenergy and green hydrogen. The Environmental Sustainable Architecture program focuses on green and sustainable building design. It allows students to discover the crucial role of sustainability in architectural practices and design while bringing awareness to cutting-edge green technologies. The Petroleum Engineering and Gas Technology program is dedicated to providing students with the necessary knowledge in exploration, drilling, production, reservoir engineering, oil, and natural gas production. In conclusion, The Faculty offers students a pool of various energy fields that open the doors for an exciting and competitive career in all energy sectors.
