Scholarship Scheme for Postgraduate Studies
Postgraduate Scholarships will be offered to BUE full-time employees, their families and BUE graduates who wish to pursue studies in the postgraduate programmes offered as described below.
Discount is applied to tuition only (application fee, UK validation fee and English placement exam fee are excluded).
Academic Masters
Families of BUE Employees (Sons and Daughters)
To apply the same undergraduate discount, excluding UK validation fee.
Rules Apply to all Postgraduates’ Academic Programmes:
a) A scholarship is terminated if the student fails any postgraduate module.
b) Qualifying modules (eg. 500 level), if any, must be completed successfully.
c) Students must score a cumulative average of 75% to maintain the scholarship.
d) Students who do not meet the requirement in (c) can be re-awarded the scholarship if they score an average of 75% or higher in the modules completed in one of the two main semesters, computed as cumulative over the entire programme or over the last semester, whichever is greater.
e) All Scholarship recipients among BUE employees, including Teaching Assistants must consent to work at BUE for two academic years following graduation.
Professional Masters
Families of BUE Employees (Sons and Daughters)
To apply the same undergraduate discount, excluding UK validation fee.
Rules apply to all postgraduates’ professional programmes:
a) Discount does not apply to repeated modules.
b) Qualifying modules (eg. 500 level), if any, must be completed successfully.
c) All Scholarship recipients among BUE employees must consent to work at BUE for two academic years following graduation.
