As part of the Student Union’s ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility, nursing students from The British University in Egypt organised a heartfelt visit to Dar El Safa Elderly Home Care.

This special initiative aimed to spread joy, compassion, and meaningful companionship to elderly residents, many of whom are in need of emotional support and human connection. The students spent quality time engaging in conversations, listening to life stories, and offering thoughtful gifts to brighten the residents’ day.

More than just a visit, the day reflected the values of empathy, respect, and service that are deeply rooted in the nursing profession. It also provided students with an enriching experience that strengthened their interpersonal skills and heightened their sense of social accountability.

This outreach activity exemplifies how nursing students extend their learning beyond the classroom, building bonds across generations and creating a lasting impact through kindness and care.
