On November 7, 2023, the Department of Political Science organised a roundtable discussion for its students under the title of "Beyond Academic Excellence".
The roundtable aimed at encouraging students and helping them with balancing between achieving academic excellence and being active students in the department.
The discussion was proudly led by two of the department's degree year two students, Amen ElSayed and Basmallah Rawash, who both shared their experience with trying to balance academic excellence and social activeness.
A Q&A session followed the discussion, along with insightful contribution from the rest of Amen and Basmallah's colleagues.
