Pharmacy Students Visit Eva Pharma
Pharmacy students from the British University in Egypt (BUE) had the opportunity to explore the crucial role of pharmacists within pharmaceutical companies during an educational visit to Eva Pharma.
During the visit, students toured the company’s state-of-the-art facilities, interacted with industry professionals, and gained valuable insights into specialised pharmaceutical roles. They engaged in discussions on medication management, safety protocols, and the latest advancements in pharmaceutical research, broadening their understanding of industry practices.
As part of the experience, students also visited a hospital, where they spent time with children, creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere for both the young patients and their families. Their engagement highlighted the compassionate side of pharmaceutical work, reinforcing the importance of patient care beyond the laboratory.
Additionally, students explored various key departments within Eva Pharma, including the production line, quality control units, and sterile areas. They observed the different machines involved in the manufacturing process, gaining practical knowledge of drug production and quality assurance.
Such initiatives provide pharmacy students with hands-on exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications while inspiring them to contribute to the future of healthcare.
