World Prematurity Day 2025: BUE Concludes a Three-Day National Online Scientific Series with Exceptional Engagement
The Faculty of Nursing at The British University in Egypt (BUE) proudly announces the successful completion of the World Prematurity Day 2025 Online Scientific Series, held from 23–25 November 2025, and attended by hundreds of participants from across Egypt including academics, clinicians, nurses, interns, students, healthcare leaders, and professionals from multiple sectors and governorates.
This major event was organized by the Pediatric Nursing Department, under the esteemed patronage of:

A Three-Day Scientific Milestone in Neonatal and Pediatric Care
Hosted on Microsoft Teams, this year’s series carried the theme:
“SMALL BABIES, BIG SCIENCE: Neonatal Nursing Excellence & Advances (2025)”
The event featured prestigious national and international speakers, delivering evidence-based updates, advanced protocols, and interdisciplinary insights across neonatology, pediatric nursing, obstetrics, developmental care, environmental health, and advanced NICU respiratory support.

The event attracted a remarkably large and diverse audience, reflecting the growing national interest in improving outcomes for preterm infants and the high reputation of BUE’s scientific contributions. It welcomed attendees from hospitals, universities, clinical settings, governmental institutions, NGOs, and private-sector healthcare facilities, spanning numerous Egyptian governorates.
The strong attendance demonstrated the national demand for advanced neonatal education and reinforced BUE’s leadership role in neonatal and pediatric nursing development.
World Prematurity Day 2025 at BUE showcased the power of collaboration, advanced science, and nursing leadership in improving the care of preterm infants.
The Faculty of Nursing continues to proudly contribute to national neonatal health initiatives, strengthening Egypt’s capacity for safe, high-quality, compassionate newborn care.
