Faculty of Nursing’s Dr. Sara Sayed Elected to Represent the Faculty in the University Senate
The Faculty of Nursing proudly congratulates: Associate Prof. Sara Sayed Abdalla

On being successfully elected as the Faculty of Nursing representative in the University Senate.
The elections were held on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, with academic staff members across the University participating in the voting process within their respective faculties. The elections witnessed active engagement from faculty members, demonstrating a collective commitment to contributing to the future direction and academic development of the University.
The Senate Elections process was conducted under the supervision of the Senate Elections Office, following the official regulations and procedures established to ensure transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout all election stages from nomination submissions and campaigning to voting and vote counting.
The Faculty of Nursing elections were held in a competitive and collegial atmosphere between Assoc. Prof. Sara Sayed Abdalla and Assoc. Prof. Nashwa Ibrahim, reflecting strong academic engagement and commitment to faculty representation. Following the official voting and counting process, Assoc. Prof. Sara Sayed Abdalla was elected as the Faculty of Nursing representative in the University Senate for the 2026 term.
