Advancing Pediatric Respiratory Nursing Through Two Specialized Scientific Sessions
BUE Faculty of Nursing Participates in the Egyptian Congress of Pediatric Pulmonology (ECPP 2026)
The Faculty of Nursing at The British University in Egypt (BUE), Pediatric Nursing Department proudly participated in the Egyptian Congress of Pediatric Pulmonology (ECPP 2026), held on 6–7 May 2026 at the prestigious Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Recognized as one of the leading scientific gatherings in pediatric pulmonology and respiratory healthcare, the congress brought together distinguished healthcare professionals, researchers, and experts from different specialties to discuss the latest evidence-based practices and innovations in pediatric respiratory care.
This year’s congress achieved an important international milestone by receiving official accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), granting participants up to 20 CME Credit Hours.
The Faculty of Nursing contributed significantly to the congress through two highly specialized nursing scientific sessions that addressed advanced and practice-changing approaches in pediatric respiratory nursing.
Nursing Session I – Day 1
“Redefining Pediatric Respiratory Nursing Practice”
Held on 6 May 2026, this session focused on transforming pediatric respiratory nursing through modern evidence-based approaches and advanced critical care practices.
Nursing Session II – Day 2
“Mastering Advanced Respiratory Support & Long-Term Care”
Held on 7 May 2026, the second nursing session focused on advanced respiratory interventions and long-term management strategies for pediatric patients requiring specialized respiratory support.
