The Faculty of Communication & Mass Media Holds its NAQAAE Cultural Week
As part of a structured implementation plan, the initiative launched its preparation phase on the 25th of January, laying the foundation for effective student engagement and awareness activities. This phase focused on identifying and gathering student representatives, defining their roles and coordinating efforts among the organising team. In parallel, significant work was dedicated to designing the awareness booths, developing brochures and printed materials for distribution and preparing a variety of interactive activities to be conducted with students at the booths. These activities were carefully planned to foster participation and meaningful dialogue.
The overall aim of this initiative is to raise students’ awareness of quality assurance and NAQAAE principles by helping them understand their rights, responsibilities and role in achieving quality education. The initiative focuses on making quality concepts clear, relevant and connected to students’ daily academic experience.
To achieve this, the campaign team follow an interactive and student-centred strategy that relies on engagement rather than lectures, using games, booths, challenges and discussions to simplify key messages, correct common misconceptions and encourage active student participation in quality culture.
