The British University in Egypt commences the first round of the BUE International Students Film Festival.

Amidst the buzz of creativity, the first Student Film Festival provide an array of cinematic brilliance. The festival stands as a testament to the enduring impact of storytelling and the boundless potential of young filmmakers.

The BUEISFF will take place on 2nd -4th June 2024. The event will serve as a platform for budding filmmakers to exhibit their talent and passion for storytelling.

The Film Festival aims to showcase the creativity and innovation of film and media production across academic institutions. It serves as a platform to highlight the exceptional work of around the world students in the field of film and media studies.

Spanning diverse genres from short films to free visual media, the festival features a compelling line-up of short films crafted by students from around the world. Each film offered a unique perspective, showcasing the depth of creativity and innovation among the young filmmakers.

Submission is open till April 30th, 2024, and free for any students around the world or fresh graduates till 2022.

Submission guidelines:

- Short Films (Feature films with shorter runtimes, typically under 15 MIN)

- Experimental or Avant-Garde (Highlights innovative and unconventional filmmaking approaches. Showcases experimental films, video art, or installations.)

- Animation (Showcases animated films, including traditional animation, CGI, and stop-motion and visual effects.)

- Web Series (Recognizes the growing trend of online content and episodic storytelling.)

- Women in Films (By promoting gender equality, women's achievements, and showing Women in society)

- Visual Forms (Scenes with precision, and editors seamlessly weaving narratives, Ads, a short media where each frame tells a story of dedication and vision.)
