Student Experience Associate- Student Life Centre
Job Purpose
The Student Experience Associate serves as the primary point of contact at the Student Life Centre, delivering a consistently high-quality, welcoming, and solution-focused service to prospective students, current students, and all related stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a professional, welcoming front-of-house environment at the Student Life Centre.
- Greet all visitors, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate destination.
- Coordinate all front-desk operations, including mail distribution, call redirection, and visitor management.
- Respond to enquiries from prospective students, current students, parents, and partners across in-person, phone, and digital channels.
- Resolve student issues at the first point of contact where possible; where escalation is required, route to the appropriate department.
- Provide accurate information on University services, department locations, and campus resources.
- Support the coordination of open days, applicant visits, and enrolment activities as required.
- Assist with data entry, document processing, and correspondence management as required
- Support the wider Student Life Centre team with administrative tasks, reporting, and service improvement initiatives.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in relevant field.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a customer facing type role.
Technical Skills
- Demonstrable experience of delivering projects on time and against objectives
- Experienced user of Microsoft office word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation packages.
- Experience of managing processes and procedures.
- Ability to communicate and present effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people at all levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including report writing and copywriting and/or editing skills.
