Organization Development Specialist- HR Department
Job Purpose
The OD Specialist is responsible for supporting organizational effectiveness by analyzing workload distribution, optimizing structures, and ensuring roles, objectives, and KPIs align with operational needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct workload analysis using observation, stakeholder meetings, and data review to assess efficiency and resource utilization.
- Perform market benchmarking and research to support staffing levels, role design, and organizational efficiency.
- Develop and update organizational structures to enhance workflow, accountability, and operational effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of KPIs and departmental objectives aligned with institutional strategy.
- Participate in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Design and review job roles and responsibilities to ensure clarity and alignment with business needs.
- Support departments in defining functional deliverables and performance measures.
- Prepare analytical reports and recommendations to enhance the workflow.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of OD experience.
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Excel (advanced).
- Power BI or data visualization tools.
- Visio and organizational charting tools.
- Span of control and layering analysis.
- Workload analysis methodologies (observation, time analysis, task mapping).
