UK Turing Mobility Programme at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities 2025

Under the leadership of prof. Shadia Fahim, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities hosted the UK Turing Programme at The British University in Egypt for the fourth consecutive year. This year, the programme expanded to include two universities for the first time: London South Bank University (LSBU) and University of Lincoln.

The Turing Scheme, the UK government's initiative for global education, funds international opportunities for education and training worldwide. In 2025, as per The British University in Egypt Internationalisation Strategy, the university hosted total of 30 students from both University of Lincoln and London South Bank University. The study programme, led by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, encompasses language learning, history, religious diversity, cultural activities, project work, and sightseeing. This marks the fourth consecutive year of hosting the Turing Programme at the British University in Egypt, with this year's scheme running as a 4-week program upon request from both UK universities.
