On 19 February 2026, the Faculty of Law welcomed students from our academic partner, London South Bank University (LSBU), for our annual Student Exchange Visit. This partnership reinforces our shared commitment to a globalized legal education that meets both Egyptian and UK academic standards.
• Comparative Law Conference: The day featured a campus-wide conference serving as a distinguished platform for comparative legal dialogue.
• Expert Welcoming Remarks: Insights were shared by Professor Ibrahim Salama (Dean), Associate Professor Hossam Shaaban (Vice Dean), and Mrs. Tiloma Chandrasekera (LSBU School of Law).
• Cultural & Legal Integration: Students attended an engaging lecture by Mr. Ahmed Fouad on “Introduction to Islamic Law and Egyptian Legal Culture”.
• Student-Led Research: Group presentations explored themes including human rights, the rule of law, and business law in a round-table format.
• Academic Commitment: BUE students delivered an excellent performance under the guidance of Mr. Mahmoud Hazem, Ms. Sarah Abu Zaid, and Ms. Malak Wafa.
