Arts & Humanities 3rd Annual Students' Conference Awards
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the British University in Egypt proudly recognises the winners of the 3rd annual Student Research Conference, that took place on the 4th of May 2025, celebrating outstanding student and alumni research contributions.
First Place:
“The Current Integration State of Disabled and Exceptional Students at the BAEPS Faculty – BUE”
Team members Ali Mohy, Ahmed Nabil Khedr, Farah Tarik Hashim, and Sahar Emad (Psychology alumni) conducted a comprehensive study on campus accessibility for students with special needs. Their project offered strong methodology and practical recommendations to improve inclusivity at the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics, and Political Science.
Second Place:
“To be the Detective Playing the Game: An Elective Approach Analysis of the Indie Horror Alternate Reality Game ‘Andy’s Apple Farm’”
Senior Omar Ahmed Hosny (English Language and Literature) explored innovative storytelling in ARGs, focusing on the popular indie horror game Andy’s Apple Farm.
Third Place:
“The Effectiveness of Pennsylvania Resilience Program in Stress Reduction for Parents of Special Needs Children”
Senior Farah Abd El Raouf (Psychology) examined resilience training’s role in helping parents cope with stress, providing valuable insights into supporting families with special needs children.
Submissions were judged on research significance, societal impact, methodology, and presentation. Congratulations to all participants for showcasing the excellence and dedication of our academic community.
