The Faculty of Physiotherapy at The British University of Egypt will be a centre of excellence in Physiotherapy higher education and research to support the health and wellbeing of the community nationally and internationally.
Mission
The Faculty of Physiotherapy at The British University of Egypt will equip the graduates with all the needed relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide evidence-based clinical practice as students and, ultimately as professionally qualified and registered practitioners. Our professionally qualified graduates’ practice will be underpinned by ethical, lawful practice.
Faculty of Physiotherapy at The British University in Egypt offers a 5-year programme in addition to one year of obligatory internship. The programme is designed to provide the student with the required knowledge and skills to be competent in the labour market. The programme starts with basic medical and physiotherapy sciences in the program’s first two years, then followed by three years of clinical exposure to physiotherapy roles in different specialities such as Cardiopulmonary, Orthopaedic, Neurology and many other specialities. In addition to sub-tracks of elective courses according to the updates in the field
Throughout these years, the student is acquiring and building up basic knowledge and hands-on skills to be prepared and competent for the national and international labour market. To achieve the latter, the Faculty is keen to have a UK partnership with well-known and high-ranking institutions worldwide. Therefore, the faculty will offer a Dual Degree programme with Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.
