BUE Hosts “Mammogram Convoy Vol. 3 – حملة ١٠٠ مليون صحة”
Nursing Students Lead Community Health Services Across Multiple Specialties
The British University in Egypt proudly hosted Mammogram Convoy Vol. 3 “حملة ١٠٠ مليون صحة”, held on Monday, November 17th, and Tuesday, November 18th, under the inspiring theme “Towards Better Health – نحو صحة أفضل.”
Organized by the Community Service Section within the Student Activities Department, the convoy was led by the Student Union and the Volunteering Team, in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Dentistry.
This impactful initiative reflects BUE’s long-standing commitment to promoting public health, preventive education, and active student involvement in community service.
The Faculty of Nursing had a prominent and influential role in the convoy, with participation from all nursing departments, offering a comprehensive range of health services and educational activities, including:

Women’s Health & Maternity Care
Awareness on breast health, maternal wellbeing, and essential preventive practices. -
Child Health & Pediatric Education
Guidance on child nutrition, hygiene, immunization, and early warning signs. -
Mental Health Support
Counseling, stress-management advice, and education promoting emotional wellbeing. -
General Health Assessments
Measuring vital signs, height, weight, and random blood sugar, along with personalized health advice and education.
Alongside these services, the convoy delivered its core mission which was mammogram screenings aligned with the national initiative “100 Million صحة”, reinforcing the importance of early detection and women’s health empowerment.
Through hands-on assessments, informative sessions, and direct engagement with the community, BUE Nursing students and academic staff demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to promoting public health.
