BUE Nursing Shines at the PediaSuez Conference 2025
BUE Nursing Highlights the Role of Nurses in Diagnostic errors in Pediatrics
The Faculty of Nursing at The British University in Egypt (BUE) proudly participated in the PediaSuez Conference 2025 in its 8th year, a leading pediatric scientific event held in Cairo at the Tolip El Narges Hotel on Friday the 31th of October 2025. The conference brought together experts, clinicians, and researchers from across Egypt and the region to share the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in pediatric medicine and nursing.
This year’s conference witnessed remarkable participation from BUE Nursing, with Associate Professor Sara Sayed representing the Faculty and the pediatric department for the second consecutive year. She delivered an outstanding and thought-provoking talk titled “From Error to Excellence: The Role of Nursing in Addressing Diagnostic Errors in Pediatric Care.”
Although the conference was mostly attended by physicians and pediatric specialists, her session drew significant attention and appreciation for shedding light on the vital role of nurses in identifying and preventing diagnostic errors. Drawing from real-life Egyptian case studies, her presentation emphasized the importance of interprofessional collaboration to enhance diagnostic accuracy and improve patient outcomes.
