The Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics, and Political Science at The British University in Egypt hosts the Political Science Model Conference (PSCM), an annual student-led conference held every April. PSCM promotes academic research among undergraduate students and provides participants with practical experience that supports their academic and professional development. Through the conference, students engage in the full process of an academic conference, including the presentation of research papers and receiving constructive feedback from reviewers and academics. Accepted papers are published in the conference proceedings.

Call for Abstracts 

Each edition of PSCM addresses a contemporary theme in political science and international affairs. Undergraduate students are invited annually to submit abstracts for consideration. The conference is organized in both in-person and hybrid formats to encourage broad participation. Further details regarding themes, submission deadlines, and participation guidelines are announced annually through the conference’s official channels.

Tentative Annual Schedule

• November: Call for Abstracts and abstract submissions
• February: Submission of full research papers
• March: Submission of conference presentations
• March: Initial reviewers’ comments and feedback to participants
• April: Annual PSCM Conference
