King’s College London Students' Visit
The Faculty of Dentistry at The British University in Egypt is delighted to announce the arrival of students from King's College, UK, as part of a groundbreaking exchange programme. This initiative signifies a significant step in international academic collaboration.
Under the patronage of Professor Tarek Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and the dedicated supervision of Professor Fardos Rizk, Vice Dean for Teaching and Learning and Pro Vice Chancellor for Students, the exchange programme has been meticulously coordinated by Dr. Engy Farag, the Director and Coordinator of the student exchange programme. The Faculty has crafted an intensive, week-long curriculum designed to immerse the visiting students in a variety of clinics and specialities.
This year's programme, set against the backdrop of an agreement forged in March 2023, was officially established by Professor Guy Daly, Provost, and Professor Michael Escudier, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at King's College. This collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to enhancing dental education through international partnerships.
The King's College students expressed their enthusiasm for the comprehensive programme as they embarked on this educational journey. The elective module at The British University in Egypt represents a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and broaden their clinical skills in a new cultural context. Throughout the week, the programme will include a series of activities and clinical sessions, providing the students with a rich learning experience.
This collaboration not only enriches the educational experience of the participants but also strengthens the academic ties between The British University in Egypt and academic institutions in the UK, paving the way for future initiatives that benefit our students.
