The Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities is celebrating Egyptian women throughout March 2022 by inviting successful and influential women figures.

Our guest speaker, Professor Maha El Said is the founder and executive director of Cairo University Anti-Harassment and Violence Against Women Unit, the first of its kind in the Arab World. Due to her great efforts and the multiple workshops she held with other universities, this model is now being replicated in 14 Egyptian universities.
