BUE Rotary Club Triumphs with Multiple Awards at Rotary District 2451's Annual Conference
Rotary Club of The British University in Egypt is very proud to have achieved significant success by earning two Platinum awards in Public Image and Club Administration, and two Golden awards for Service and New Generation. These accolades underscore the Club's continuous dedication to promoting community service and public engagement.
The awards were received at the Rotary District 2451's 11th Annual Conference, held from 9- 11 May 2024 at New Alamein, North Coast. The Conference, a pivotal event for innovators and problem-solvers, saw our Rotary Club securing four prestigious awards for their exceptional commitment to community service and positive change.
This success is attributed to the steadfast support of the Club Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Farida Khamis, and the leadership of Rotary Club President and President and Vice-Chancellor of The British University in Egypt, Professor Mohamed Loutfi.
To celebrate this achievement, our University hosted a ceremony on 29th May to honour all Rotary Club members. The celebration was graced with the attendance of District Governor Mr. Ayman Nazih and District Assistant Governors’ Coordinator Eng. Dina Kotb.
Congratulations are due to every single Club member for their contributions throughout the year for their continued efforts to support our University's mission of giving back to the community and special thanks to the dedicated team who made the submissions for the awards: Club Vice-President, Dr. Tamer Mohamed, Honorary Secretary, PP Ms. Sahar Salama, Public Image Head, Dr. Noha Mostafa, and Club Member, Ms. Mahsheed Shoukry.
