Recruitment & Admissions Officer

Job Purpose

The Recruitment & Admissions Officer will be involved in events for lead generation, recruitment, and retention of students in graduate and undergraduate programs. These include outbound school visits (presentations), school fairs, inbound school visit, open-days, faculty focus days, individual/group tours and commercial fairs.

The post holder will become familiar and engage with the University CRM system and will also engage with prospective students through this.

They will also be involved in the implementation of the Admissions processes and systems taking students beyond prospect and all the way through to enrolment within the SRS framework. 

Job Responsibilities 

- Provides career and academic counseling, planning, and advising to potential students.

- Participates in the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials.

- Participation in outbound and inbound events, speaking to groups and individual students, parents, school counselors and teachers.

- Serves as a liaison to develop partnerships between the university and local schools.

- Becomes familiar with, engages with and develops the CRM database of prospective and current students and/or potential degree candidates.

- Responds to enquiries from students and other stakeholders through face to face and digital engagement.

-Becomes familiar with the full application process and able to utilise the SRS system.

- Review of the submitted high school certificates and the other required documents as per the admission regulations of the University and Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.

- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in relevant field.

Experience

Desired:

- A minimum of 1 to 3 years.

Preferable:

- Experience of using Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Technical Skills

- Demonstrable experience of delivering projects on time and against objectives.

- Demonstrable basic experience of reporting and data analysis, including interpretation of results to inform future marketing planning and activities.

- Experienced user of Microsoft office word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation packages

- Experience of managing processes and procedures.

- Excellent IT skills including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation packages.

-Ability to communicate and present effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people at all levels.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills including report writing and copywriting and/or editing skills.
