Industrial Relations Manager- Enterprise Department
Job Purpose
Enterprise office aims to become the university's arm for innovations and industrial support, interactively providing solutions and professional services to industrial and business challenges in Egypt and in the market.
The industrial relation unit will support, promote, provide high quality enterprise services through becoming a leading provider of proven, applied research, conduct SME’s assessments, prepare proposals, follow up with consultants, provide reporting and insights to partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Planning, developing, and implementing activities/services in accordance with enterprise strategy, objectives, and goals.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
- Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
- Assisting in drafting policies and procedures for university consultancy and applied services.
- Develop and manage the university enterprise platform.
- Managing the leads generated by referrals and call prospect to deliver a remarkable consultation experience
- Meet prospects to identify their needs and requirements.
-Process / Screen data / information on consultancy proposal & services with our SMEs clients
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to management of running consultancy projects and services.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industrial sector, government entities, donors, and funders.
- Design and implement initiative that promote and position the university in the industrial sector.
- Map the current enterprise resources at the university.
- Design and develop new services to the market.
- Establish internal reporting systems.
- Encourage university staff to apply science in consultancy projects.
- Manage and follow up on the current projects.
- Follow up on the delivery of the projects with consultants.
- Follow up on legal and finance department to regarding contracts and income generated.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration is preferable.
- MBA, DBA is a plus.
Experience
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in the industrial sector.
- Proven experience working with SME’s.
- Experience working with government and industrial support entities.
- Experience in contract financing, trade financing, will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Good skills in networking, financial analysis, sales, proactive, energetic, integrity and possess good business acumen.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
- Able to work independently with min supervision and Target Success Driven.
- Extensive sales experience.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
