The Faculty of Law is proud to announce that our team has been named the Regional Champion of the Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition for the MENA region. This victory highlights the University’s strong focus on experiential learning and the high quality of legal education at our Faculty.
- Regional Victory: Our team emerged as champions after a professional final round conducted with Ain Shams University, reflecting the high standards of both institutions.
- Individual Excellence: Junior student Nourine Gad was named the "Best Oralist" of the final round.
- Top-Tier Rankings: All four BUE participants were named among the top 10 best oralists in the region: Nourine Gad (5th), Norain Gebely (6th), Farah Shaheer (7th), and Fagr Mohamed (8th).
- Leadership and Coaching: The team was led by alumni coaches Ms. Leila Khaled and Mr. Rafik Ramez.
- Broad Competition: The MENA regional rounds included competitive teams from Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
- Global Finals: We wish our brilliant students and the Moot Court team (Ms. Mariam Aboelmagd, Ms. Amina Emam, and Ms. Malak Osama) the best of luck as they prepare for the global rounds in Oxford this April.
