Events Experience and Standards Supervisor - Marketing Communications
Job Purpose
The Events Experience and Standards Supervisor is responsible for the Implementation of event standards, monitors service quality, and supports the execution of events in alignment with institutional branding, operational excellence, and audience expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of events to ensure high standards of quality, consistency, and audience experience.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective planning and delivery of events across faculties and departments.
- Support the development and continuous enhancement of event standards, frameworks, and operating procedures.
- Provide on-site supervision during events to ensure adherence to plans, timelines, and service expectations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to event processes and attendee experience.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery and alignment with agreed standards.
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess event effectiveness.
- Prepare post-event reports highlighting performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure consistency in branding, signage, communication materials, and overall event presentation.
- Support risk identification and resolution during event execution.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in event experience and management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in event management, event operations, or experience delivery
- Strong understanding of event planning, execution, and quality control
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing event logistics
- Ability to implement and monitor event standards and service quality
- Experience in vendor coordination and service delivery management
