Creative Copywriter - Marketing Communications
Job Purpose
The Creative Copywriter is responsible for developing engaging, clear, and compelling content across all digital platforms. The role ensures consistency in brand voice, supports marketing campaigns, and enhances audience engagement through creative storytelling and impactful messaging.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop creative and engaging content for digital campaigns, website, email marketing, and advertisements.
- Translate academic programs and institutional messages into clear, engaging, and accessible content for target audiences.
- Develop campaign messaging including headlines, taglines and narrative frameworks
- Write clear, persuasive, and audience-focused messaging tailored to different target segments.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure high quality and accuracy.
- Support content strategy development by contributing ideas and storytelling approaches.
- Optimize content for SEO and digital performance where applicable.
- Adapt content for different platforms and formats (short-form, long-form, scripts, etc.).
- Stay updated with industry trends, content styles, and digital storytelling techniques.
- Assist in developing content calendars and campaign plans.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or digital marketing
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to write for different formats and digital platforms
- Understanding of brand voice and messaging consistency
- Familiarity with SEO and digital content practices
- Experience using content management systems is an advantage
