Academic Services Coordinator- Academic Services Department
Job Purpose
The Academic Services Coordinator supports in the issuance of academic documents for students and graduates by managing requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all issued certificates and statements, and maintaining effective coordination and follow-up throughout the process. The role also aims to enhance the overall service experience by delivering timely responses, maintaining proper records, and promoting value-added services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and collect requests from students and graduates for the issuance of academic certificates, degrees, and official statements.
- Maintain accurate records of requests and supporting documentation.
- Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries from students and graduates regarding academic documents and related services.
- Provide direct support and guidance to students and graduates on document-related services.
- Verify and review graduates’ data prior to the issuance of academic degrees to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the issuance, verification, and distribution of academic degrees, transcripts, and other official statements to ensure timely delivery to the requester.
- Support in the review and validation of academic degrees issued by UK partner universities.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field.
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in higher education administration, academic governance, quality assurance, or compliance.
- Proven experience working with UK higher education quality frameworks and international academic partnerships. (preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of student information systems, academic records management, and data governance.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and follow-up abilities.
