October 20, 2020- In accordance with the academic cooperation between the BUE and leading Universities in Japan, Mr Kenichiro Matsubayashi; Deputy Chief of Mission visited BUE today and held a meeting with Mrs Farida Khamis BUE Board of trustees Member, Mrs Yasmine Khamis BUE Board of trustees Member, Prof Ahmed Hamad; BUE President; Prof Yehia Bahi El-Din; Senior Vice-President for Research and Post Graduate Studies; Prof Leslie Croxford; Senior Vice President for Learning and Teaching and Ambassador Dr Mahmoud Karem; Special Advisor to the President for Foreign Affairs and Director of Centre of Egypt and ME Studies. The purpose of the visit is to activate the roadmap of the academic collaboration between Egypt and Japan in the field of Robotics, Mechatronics and Artificial Intelligence especially that the BUE has successfully concluded two agreements last year with two pioneering Institutes in Japan, Kyushu University and Nagoya Institute of Technology. These two agreements have paved the way to implement future agreements with other Japanese Universities in the field of Dentistry and Pharmacy.
It is worth mentioning that the BUE hosted last year the annual event “Study in Japan Fair,” with the full Participation and Booths by many Major Universities in Japan such as Kyoto, Tsukuba, Tokyo University, and others as part of the fruitful cooperation between BUE and Kyushu University.
