The Department of English Language and Literature students visited Nahdet Misr Publishing Group on Thursday 25th October 2018. The aim of the visit was to raise our undergraduate students’ understanding about successful local businesses, create a link with the local job market to serve as internship partners and raise their awareness about the market requirements for new graduate hires.
Dr. Dahlia Fouad, the Education and Content Director introduced our students to a variety of sectors under Nahdet Misr which would welcome them as fresh graduates. Ms. Dalia Ibrahim, the CEO of Nahdet Misr Publishing Group, shared with the students the importance of summer internships in order to ensure they are one step ahead of the market needs when they graduate. She also emphasised the importance of hard work and setting clear goals. Ms. Nashwa El Hofy highlighted the importance of arts and humanities to society.
