The British University in Egypt and the Chinese Company Huawei Technologies In the field of training and employment for the students of the Department of Chinese Language and Culture, Faculty of Arts and Humanities
In the presence of Ms. Farida Khamis, the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the BUE, Prof. Yehia Bahei El-Din, Acting President of the British University, and Prof. Shadia Fahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr. Ma Ben, President of the Huawei Egypt Public Affairs and Communication Department.
As per the MOU, Huawei will provide the opportunity of training and employment for the students and graduates in the Department of Chinese Language & Culture and other scientific majors at the BUE. Both parties the BUE and Huawei will benefit from this cooperation, as the BUE provides qualified graduates with distinctive skills, and Huawei contributes to the training of the students to be ready for the labour market.
Prof. Bahei El-Din clarified that the British University has taken confident steps to be a fourth-generation university after investing its effort in education, learning and entrepreneurship. Moreover, Mr. Wang Mengyu , Huawei – Egypt Enterprise President expressed his happiness for signing the memorandum of understanding with the British University as it is a highly ranked university in the field of research, education and knowledge integration.
Prof. Fahim expressed her delight that Huawei, a leading global company, will be providing the best opportunity for the students in the Chinese Language & Culture Department to enhance the links between education and training in alignment with President ElSisi 2030 vision, as the students will enroll in Huawei Technology with the aim of being trained to meet the changing needs of the labour market.
