Dr. Tarek holds a Bachelor degree of Business Management on May 1991 from Asyut University, M.A. degree of Marketing on August 1998 from South Valley University, and a Ph.D. degree of Management of information systems on March 2005 from KOBE University, JAPAN.

He was visiting researcher at Centre of Excellence of KOBE University, Graduate School of Business Administration (SBA), JAPAN from July 2007 to August 2009. He was also invited as a part-time instructor at a number of high ranked universities and academic institutes for teaching and supervising research projects in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and helped designing course contents for such programs. Recently, he joined the British University in Egypt as an associate professor in September 2014.

Dr. Tarek Ali is an associate professor, researcher, trainer and consultant in Business management areas related to Human Resource Management (HRM) and supply chain management (SCM) with special emphasis on Total Quality Management (TQM) implementations to HRM and SCM in private and governmental organizations. He is also an Honorary PhD and post doctorate Fellow at KOBE University, Graduate School of Business Administration (SBA), JAPAN on April 2001 and July 2007. , Dr. Tarek has published number of research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests are in the areas of adopting innovative networking models to deal with contemporary SMEs problems such as "Holonic enterprise";"Self-organization"; “Outopoietic” and "Habitus-field”, in addition to, investigating the impact of managers’ innovative work behavior on the relationship between their work designs and performances, and the role of HRM practices on gaining a sustained competitive advantage in the market.
