Professor Elsayed Salama obtained his PhD. in physics from Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University in May 2006 in Nuclear radiation dosimetry. Dr. Elsayed also obtained his BSc. and MSc. from Ain Shams University, Egypt. Dr. Salama has been selected as a representative for the young Egyptian researcher to attend the 62nd Lindau Nobel Laureate meetings (Physics), from 1-6 July 2012, Lindau, Germany. Dr. Salama has been affiliated with The British University in Egypt (BUE) since September 2012. Dr. Salama had his associate professor degree in November 2013.  Dr. Salama has obtained a certificate of radiation protection expert from the ministry of medicine (RPE). Regarding the BUE research awards, Dr. Salama received the BUE early research award, 2016, and the BUE best publication award, 2017.
