Nesma is an assistant lecturer at the British University, faculty of Business, Economics and Political Science. Nesma is part of the teaching and learning, and the material development team. She is always keen to participate in PD events and international conferences. She has recently participated in the 2020 professional development event organized by the BUE with a session entitled “Micro-learning: Boosting Online Learning. She also participated in the International Conference Effective Blended and Online Teaching: Using the Best Practices jointly organized by Blue Crest University College, Ghana, NMIMS, Indore, India and the British University in Egypt, in November 2020. Nesma graduated from Helwan University, faculty of Arts and Humanities, Linguistics and Translation section. She pursued her master’s degree in foreign language acquisition and got her degree from Helwan University in 2014.
Before joining the British University, Nesma worked at Modern Science and Arts University from 2011 to 2017. She taught variety of academic courses, i.e. English for Academic Purposes, Introduction to Linguistics, Syntax and Morphology and Phonetics and Phonology. She was also part of the staff development team responsible for creating different training programs to train both academic and administrative staff.
Nesma also worked as a soft skills trainer, at RCC creating different training programs, i.e Communication skills, presentation skills, time management skills, Charisma training skills and others. Nesma is currently pursuing her PhD and her research interest is in instructional design, course and material design and e-learning development
