Dr Shahira S.A. Elkholey got her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Alexandria University in 2005 and 2013, respectivly. In 2018 she got her PhD in the Environmental Science and Engineering, Yamaguchi University, Japan. In 2018, she was a postdoctoral research fellow of the Applied Chemistry  in Yamaguchi University, Japan. She joined the British University in Egypt in 2019. Her research focuses on the area of biofuels and application of renewable energy.
