Nada Hossam Hashim is a teaching assistant at the British University in Egypt at the faculty of BAEPS. She is a BAEPS graduate of class 2019, graduated from the British University in Egypt, completed her UK bachelor’s degree in finance validated by London South Bank University, with A dissertation topic of: " The Impact of Presidential Elections on Stock Market Volatility: A Comparative Study on the Egyptian Market Versus US Market". She later published the paper “ Presidential Elections and Stock markets: A Comparative Study” in the Journal of finance and economics. She graduated with a “Distinction with highest honours” with an overall GPA 4.0 out of 4.0. She was the top of her cohort for the entire 4-year academic program. She is currently pursuing her master’s in finance and Investment in Cairo University. Her fields of interest include portfolio management, stock market and behavioural finance. She was further one of the BUE CFA team who won 1st place in the Local CFA Competition 2020.
