Vice dean / Faculty of Pharmacy & Technology /Heliopolis University for Sustainable development since 12/2018 until 31/8/2018.

My interest extends from chemistry of natural products; HPLC, GC, isolation, purification of compounds, till the biological activity & toxicity of natural compounds. I have published 47 articles, 37 of which are impacted international journals, still working on other articles (whether under review or in the preparation stage). I have participated in 9 international conference & 4 national conference either poster or oral presentation and attended 23 workshops whether scientific or for quality assurance. I was a member in the following projects:

  • The Role of some plants extracts in raising resistance of snails to infection with trematodes, (2014/ 2017) funded by Theodor Bilharz Research institute.
  • High value Pharmaceutical Raw Material from Food Processing Waste (2014/2016) Funded by STDF National Research Grants
  • Possible anti-inflammatory activity of certain natural products against hepatic inflammation in experimental animals and evaluation of their safety in hepatocyte cultures (2013/2016) funded by Theodor Bilharz Research institute.
  • Environmental pollutions and obesogens: Role of clinical nutrition and natural products in treatment of obesity and diabetes mellitus. Funded by the National Research Center (2015/2018).
