The heart of student life
|
| University should be a place you enjoy waking up to go to. It will inevitably become a second home to all its students. By the end of such an experience students will be able to organise events, manage a team and brainstorm ideas to create something valuable. Skills like this are prized by employers and joining the Student life at BUE gives students an opportunity to develop existing skills and the chance to put them into practice. Students are encouraged to build relationships - local or international - and to participate in or organise a variety of events both on and off campus. |
| British education is renowned for concerning itself with the development of the whole personality. Learning within your chosen subject area is important, but it is not the whole picture. Young people need to develop their potential to explore and discover the world around them, to think for themselves and form opinions, to relate to others, to take responsibility, and to be accountable for their actions. |
