In accordance with the University overall strategic aim to act as a catalyst for social and economic development, the main objectives of the Centre are to:-

  1. Develop more enterprising graduates who can either establish their own new growth businesses/enterprises or help lead established organisations, whether large or small, private or public sector.
  2. Help commercialise the intellectual property of its staff and students and spin out new ventures based on the research and knowledge base of the University.
  3. Assist new and small businesses grow and succeed through consulancy, mentoring, networking and training.
