1. BSC (HONOURS) IN NURSING
A four years programme followed by an internship year where students are appointed full time to selected clinical set ups under the supervision of the college and the health institution. The work based experience will encourage decision making, problem solving and direct application of leadership and management skills. This program is equivalent to the programs taught int he Egyptian Universities and meets with the requirements for achievement of the degree at QMU. (Decree of the Supreme Council of Universities, MOHE no. for the year 2007)
Admission to the programme is for students who have achieved their secondary school degree. As well graduates from the Technical Nursing Institutes are admitted to the second year at MMNF.
2. TECHNICAL NURSING DIPLOMA ( DISTANCE LEARNING)
A recent decree (no. year 2013) has been issued to start the remedial programme for graduates from the Nursing Schools which are to be discontinued and replaced by Technical Institutes of Nursing. This is a golden opportunity offered to graduates of an obsolete program and will offer them opportunity to advance in their career. Because of the shortage of nursing staff and the worldwide requirements to have have only two levels of nurses: The BSc. and the Technical diploma nurses, MMNF is prepared lead the upgrading of nurses to promote health care and to ensure a competitive patient care provision.
The programme is to be conducted for 4 semesters for nurses working in the health care system. As the program is a distance learning programme it is planned so that nurses enrolled are not requested to leave their jobs to achieve the learning outcomes.
