  • Fields of Interest: I have participated in several projects dealing with bacterial and viral epidemiology and virulence, pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology. Currently, i am working on analyzing the microbiome composition of different fresh water and soil sediment samples from different locations throughout the Egyptian environment. The aim is to characterize the microbial diversity of these habitats and analyze the factors affecting their composition by studying their abundance through 16S rRNA gene analysis. i amis familiar with basic molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology and bioinformatics research techniques. I am also familiar with computational biology, programming and modelling.
