American Diploma

(i) All students must have attained Grades 10, 11 and 12 in the American system

(ii) 8 subjects of at least one credit each are required with an official transcript

(iii) At least 4 subjects must have been passed in Grade 12 and the rest of the 8 required subjects are counted from Grades 11 and 10 with a maximum of two subjects in Grade 10

(i) Minimum score of SAT I and SAT II are announced by the Egyptian Council of Private Universities

(ii) Faculty of Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy: Applicants with SAT II must take Biology as well as either Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics

(iii) Faculties of Engineering or Informatics & Computer Science: Applicants with SAT II must take Mathematics and either Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

(iv) Faculties of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science and Communication & Mass Media, Arts & Humanities and Law : SAT II is optional

Attaining the official Egyptian Secondary School General Certificate

  • Faculties of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science , Communication & Mass Media, Arts & Humanities and Law (all section accepted)
  •  Faculties of Dentistry & Pharmacy and Nursing (Science section required)
  •  Faculties of Engineering and Informatics & Computer Science (Math section required)

IGCSE/GCSE

(i) 8 IGCSE/GCSE Ordinary Level subjects are required with an official school transcript

(ii) The maximum number of AS Level or A Level subjects that are counted are:

  •  2 A Level subjects or
  •  4 AS Level subjects or
  • A Level subject and 2 AS Level subjects

(iii) a minimum grade C in IGCSE/GCSE Level subjects

(iv) a minimum grade D in AS or A Level subjects is required

(v) General Science, Religion, Physical Education, Military Sciences, Music, Classical Arabic, and Arabic as a Second Language are not counted as one of the eight required subjects

(vi) Faculties of Engineering and Informatics & Computer Science: In addition to the eight IGCSE/GCSE levels subjects AL Level Math or AS Level Math is required

Canadian High School Diploma

8 subjects with a maximum of 3 subjects passed in Grade 11 and the remainder passed in Grade 12.

French Baccalaureate

(i) 7 subjects with a minimum of 10 points

(ii) English language required

German Abitur

(i) 7 subjects with a minimum score of 3

(ii) English language required

(iii) Grade 12 must have been completed

International Baccalaureate (IB)

(i) 6 subjects including 3 high level subjects

(ii) English Language is required

(iii) The Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge are required but do not count as one of the 6 subjects

(iv) A minimum of 24 points is required

(iv) Faculties of Engineering and Informatics & Computer Science: Math & Physics are required in

the higher levels

(vi) Faculties of Dentistry, Nursing & Pharmacy: Biology & Chemistry are required in the higher levels
