SPE – BUE Student Chapter Outstanding Award for the Fifth Time.

The British University in Egypt’s Society of Petroleum Engineers student Chapter (SPE) has received the 2017 – 2018 Outstanding Award for the Fifth year in a row.
The award recognizes the chapter’s overall achievements for the year 2017 - 2018. This great accomplishment was made possible by the hard work of the team led by the BUE student Ayman Mamdouh the Chapter’s President and the chapter’s Vice President Ibrahim Essam who received the prize on the sidelines of the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition of Technologies (ATCE) in September in Dallas Petroleum Conference.
SPE BUE Student chapter consists of 170 members from different majors in the University and is the only branch in the world that won this award for five consecutive years.

Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is the largest individual – member organization serving managers, engineers, scientists and other professionals worldwide in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry. SPE is a key source for technical knowledge related to the oil and gas exploration and production industry and provides services through its publications, events, training courses, and online resources.
