Appreciation Awards Day at the BUE

On Tuesday 25th of September 2018, the British University in Egypt held its third Appreciation Awards Ceremony to honour the outstanding efforts, dedication, and contribution of its academic, administrative and support staff.

The Appreciation Awards Day is an annual event honouring the dedicated service and commitment of staff to the university. It provides an opportunity to congratulate all staff for their service and to show them how much they are appreciated for their individual and collective contributions to its success.

The event was held in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Farid Khamis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the British University in Egypt, Professor Ahmed Hamad, the BUE President and a number of faculty members and administrative staff.

During his speech, Professor Hamad, the BUE President said that the honouring ceremony came in the context of appreciating the distinguished employees and honouring them for their efforts and dedication to the university.

From his part Mr. Farid Khamis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the BUE, stated that this appreciation ceremony will lead all the BUE employees to perform their duties without limitations, bringing up that he will always provide all the support, efforts and money to cultivate the educational system.

The BUE President Professor Ahmed Hamad then handed the awards as a part of the annual Recognition for those who have worked in the BUE to reward their achievements and contributions in a number of the following categories:

- 97 honoured employees in the category of 10 Years’ Service.

- 143 honoured employee in the category of Promotions for the year 2017- 2018.

- 121 honoured employees in the category of promotions for the year 2016-2017.

- 10 honoured employees in the Category of Staff development.

- 19 honoured employees in the category of Participation in obtaining NAQAAE Accreditation for the Faculty of Engineering

-19 Best Admin Employees from all over the university.

The BUE looks forward to many more good years to come.
