BUE Pharmacy students wins the 5th place in Dubai international Pharmaceutical and Technologies conference (DUPHAT)

Professor Ahmed Hamad, President of the British University in Egypt and Professor Mohy El-Mazar Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy were proud to announce that eight of BUE Pharmaceutical students won the fifth place among 15 representatives, for their presentation

“The Era of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology” in “Dubai International Pharmaceutical and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT), as it was held from 15th to 17th of March, 2016 in Dubai.

The program included 111 oral presentations and 500 posters, and was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, UAE and President of Dubai Health Authority.

Pharmacy students won the prize of their 2 oral presentations “Comparative study; Determination of Vitamin C content in natural artificial fruit juices in comparison to a stand Vitamin C” and “The Era of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology”, it was under supervision of Dr. Mona Gamal Arafa – Pharmaceutical Lecturer.

Students who participated in the international conference Tasneem Mahmoud Mahmoud, Hossam El Din Hassan, Khaled Younbis Youssef, Ahmed Gamal Mohamed, Fawzy Alaa El Din Taoun, Mostafa Said Mansour, Nermin Ismail Amin and Nouran Gaber Ahmed.
