    Associate Professor and Head of Computer Networks specialization. Dr. Amal received her B.Sc and M.Sc in Computer Engineering from Alexandria University in 1986 and 1990 respectively. Her PhD was a joint supervision between Alexandria University and the University of Texas at Austin, which was received in 1996. Since then, Dr. Amal worked as an assistant Professor in Alexandria University from 1997 till 2000, then in Ain Shams University from 2000 till 2003. In 2003, she joined the German University in Cairo as an associate Professor from 2003 till 2013, then moved to the BUE till present.
