Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) is the meeting point between elected student representatives and members of staff.
The student representatives voice their (and their colleagues') concerns and appreciations related to teaching, learning etc., in an open and formal structured manner. Also, SSLC is a good chance for the faculty to consult the student on any related issues, and to draw to their attention any concerns that they may have.
Usually SSLC meetings include; the Dean, Acting Head of Departments, programme directors, Teaching and Learning officers, and other member of staff. SSLC meetings encourage the resolution of issues. Based on these meetings, actions are decided and follow ups are usually conducted. There are two meetings per semester.
