The University will broaden its range of Faculties and Programmes to include Education, Humanities, Nursing, and Social Sciences. It is also in the process of starting an Arab and Islamic Studies Centre. BUE also plans to introduce postgraduate and research programmes including Masters in Business Administration, Masters of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language as well as PhD programmes in all disciplines.
Campus expansions include an integrated laboratory block, a dedicated library / learning resources building, on-site student residential accommodation, and a recreational complex.
